Gabby joined Kocher & Barney as a law clerk in January 2022. As a law clerk she assisted and gained experience in the areas of Commercial and Construction Law as well as Real Estate and Business Law. As an associate attorney, Gabby will continue to focus on Real Estate and Business Law, as well as expand into Civil Litigation, Family Law, and Criminal Law.

 
Gabby received her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law magna cum laude. While at UT she had the honor of serving as the Executive Editor for the College of Law’s Law Review and published her own article titled: “Common Interest Communities And A New Approach to Restriction on Leases As Amendments to The Original Declaration.”

 
Gabby graduated from Tiffin University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. While at TU she met Cole Trent, whom she later married in 2020. Together they decided to return to his roots in Ottawa County making the Village of Genoa their home.
