SAMANTHA A. NASH

          Sami joined Kocher and Barney as a law clerk in March of 2023. As a law clerk she assisted and gained experience in the areas of Criminal Law, Real Estate Law, Business Law, and Trusts/Wills/Estates. As an associate attorney, Sami will continue to work on Criminal Law, Real Estate, and Trusts/Wills/Estates. She will also expand into Family Law, Juvenile Law, and Civil Litigation.

          Sami received her Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo College of Law. While there, Sami served as an Articles Editor for the College of Law’s Law Review. She also served as Executive Citations Editor for Delta Theta Phi’s Adelphia Law Journal, where she published her own article titled: “Misguided Justice: Why Ohio Should Abolish Their Felony Murder Statute.”

          Sami graduated from The Ohio State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in criminology and a minor in business. She decided to jump right into law school at University of Toledo, where she met her fiancé, Andy Nash, who is also an Attorney. They will be getting married in October, and Sami will be changing her name to Sami Nash.
