Jessica joined Kocher & Barney in April 2023.  She graduated from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio in 2014 with her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Criminology and a minor in Business. She started her professional career by working with nonprofit organizations in downtown Cleveland after college. She relocated out to Port Clinton in 2017 working at Catawba Island Club where she met her husband, Addison Hoover.  Jessica and Addison married in January 2019 and reside on Catawba with their two children: Emma and Jacob.  They enjoy family trips to different zoos, parks, museums and visiting their extended families!

Jessica has previous experience as a nonprofit case worker & program coordinator, recruitment & hiring specialist, and as an events coordinator.  Now, she enjoys assisting the attorneys with the various projects given to her.  She likes that she can continue to learn everyday while supporting the attorneys with their clients.
